Don't you dare do your psychology on me! Don't you dare twist my words and make things bigger!

That fight is between me and you, why did you have to complain the words I've said to him? Literally, he was not involved but since you hurt my feelings with your harsh words, I had to say something that would hurt you equally. My words hurt you, didn't they? Coz yours hurt me a great deal ...

But guessed what?

You defended him, obviously. "Who am I?" you said. Who are you to say those words to me?

If you had kept your mouth shut and mumbled the words you had to say to yourself, this would not have happened. My patience has its limits, and it exploded when you crossed the line.

I cursed you? Come on, don't tell me you've never cursed or scold ppl the 'bad words' before! Don't be such a hypocrite and act that you're innocent!

The painful words I blurted out did not come out of thin air. I witnessed something in the house which lost my utmost respect for him, which I won't say it here.

I was trying to be nice and give cookies as a gift, which my mom especially requested from me. She wants to give the cookies as a token of appreciation but since he doesn't want them anymore, then that's fine. Why give something to someone who doesn't appreciate your effort? I rather give it to someone else instead ...

If his views on me changed because of the words I used to spite her, then mine changed too.

I can't help but feel pressurized knowing that two of my girlfriends is engaged / getting engaged. Peer pressure, you can say. Most of my friends have a boyfriend, I don't. Lately, I have been thinking about the matter a lot. Giving em a deep thought.

After the call with you, rinie ... I confided about my troubles to Hana and my mom. The talk became so personal and deep. I am glad to have shared my troubles with someone. It feels like a burden had been lifted off me.

My mom and sis gave me a lot of useful advices. I am going to pray to God every day, hoping that He would grant my wish one day. Hana's right. It is time to meet some guys and it starts right now! I'll have to work hard. If my mom, Hana or you girls can introduce me to a few guys, why not? I cannot be shy. Darn it. Sometimes I really hate the nature of my personality. It takes me some time to adjust to strangers. I am not the type who immediately clicks with a stranger on the first day of meeting.

I can't keep on hoping and do nothing. I'll have to keep on giving, and not think of the result. Mudah-mudahan murah rezeki.

One more thing ... I need to learn how to cook! It's about time I start. As a woman, it really is important to know how to cook. To be honest, I have absolutely no interest in cooking but for the sake of my future, I will try to learn to love it.

Knowing how to bake is an extra bonus.

Well, I am getting serious about this whole matter. I'll try my best to reduce the peer pressure in me. I'll seek for God's help and pray, and do whatever I can!

I can't wait to meet Rinie and Maira this Sunday! Because I am sure going to confide in you girls! I'll bombard you gals with my troubles! Be prepared!!! Hahahaa ....

P.S. To Rinie and Lisda, I am really happy for the both of you. From the bottom of my heart, congratulations. Korang dua, with Maira ... are my closest friends ever. I considered you all as my sisters. Maira and Lisda are my elder sisters that I never had, and Rinie ... my adopted younger sister. Keke.

My mother's birthday is coming in a few days ... On the 18th of March. 3 persons in my family shared the same birth month. The other being my youngest sis and elder bro. I've already bought her present. Thinking of buying donuts from Donut Empire on the day ...

Looking forward to it.

Planning to go for a short holiday with my family in June. I want to go to a place I've never been to before. Hmm, perhaps places of interest like, Kedah, Pahang, Ho Chi Minh, etc.

Hope my wish for a holiday becomes a reality.

My pocket literally burned when I hang out with Maira @ Orchard! I bought a LOT of stuff! The both of us decided to have our lunch at Pastamania after moments of hesitation where to eat. Maira recommended me the Chessy Ball Pasta. I can't recall the original name. It was scrumptious and I absolutely love it!

All in all, I bought stuff from Cotton On, Forever 21, Kinokuniya, SASA & Charles and Keith!

I am done shopping for the month of March! ;)

Had a Chinese New Year gathering at a friend's house! We muslims ate only the halal foods. It was fun nevertheless to feel the CNY atmosphere with fellow Chinese friends. I got 2 red packets in the end!!!!! It's cool! :)))

Loaded with assignments to do ... it's hard for me to breathe. I don't mean literally, certainly. It's hard to juggle 3 assignments which deadlines are so near to one another! The group's project is almost to completion so that will leave me with 2 assignments. I have 3 weeks to complete them all.

I'm not gonna stress myself out and do my best ... There's a week Chinese New Year break so I'm going to use that time to do complete my assignments! I would have to start beforehand. I've always disliked doing last minute works. It will do me no good in the end. I will panic and everything will just go haywire ...

One month passed by so quickly! It's the 2nd month of 2010 already ...

It's good to express your emotions to someone. From experience, keeping tight lip about my problems does not do me good. All the hurt and pain accumulates deep inside my heart. Without me knowing, it bursts into a tremendous eruption.

I talked to my friends in school and pretty much had their advices as well. They are mothers and understand both perspectives. So ... it was rather interesting. They made me feel a lot better. I feel as if a burden had been taken away from me. They do not know the existence of my blog but ... thank you.

Rin and Maira, thank you to you too. You girls don't know how blessed I am to have such good friends like you! From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You two managed to bring a smile to my faces despite my situation.

I am not on talking terms with my mom right now. My mom gives me that silent treatment whenever we 'fight'. It seems that I am the only one who she does that to. She could easily reconcile with other siblings when they fought. But not me ... Sometimes I do feel left out in this family. Like, unwanted ... being treated differently ...

Or maybe, that's just my feeling?

I follow the genes of my mother aparently ... I am very sensitive. The slightest thing could hurt and break me ... I may not show it but I'm such a fragile human being. I have lots of insecurities and complexes but that's what make us humans ... We are not perfect.

I'm feeling very frustrated!!! ARGH!

Can't even express myself at home ... I have a love hate relationship with my parents. After a tiring day at school, I had to face problems at home ...

The way she words her sentences just hurts, damn it! What I feel, my feelings, doesn't give a damn to her! Can't even show my frustration or hurt in front of her as that act of expression is considered disobedient. How more conservative can she be?????? I know she came from a very conservative family but this is just too much! This cannot, that cannot ... I've had enough of that! Whatever I do will never ever please her!

It's somehow suffocating to be in this family who has lots of rules and regulations. Too conservative, too much control. Sometimes I wish I could be free ... even if it means the freedom is limited. I'd rather have that than nothing at all.

Hadn't cried in ages! Usually the one who always make me cry is none other than my mother.

I love her, but I hate her. So bittersweet ...

The scarfs that we wore were brand new at that time! We were so 'kiasu' and played around on putting the long scarf. Wore them for the sake of taking pictures!

I loved this shot of my sis! Simply beautiful! The lighting especially!

I however wasn't happy with the shot she took of me! Hana and I always complained how bad of a photographer she was. Her angles is always ... weird.

Something ... obviously shifted my attention.

Family were told to wear green for the special occasion. Green is my least favourite colour but the colour tone I picked turned out nice. I like it. I absolutely hate dark green.

The ceremony started from 2pm till 9pm. I came early with my family to help out. It was tiring but fun. I like what malays call 'bergotong royong', a sense of helping one another to make the event a success.

Quite a number of my cousins from my dad's side are married / have children ... I feel a little envy of them. One day, insya allah ...

I hate how I'm allergic to chocolates and peanuts ... Although they don't give me rashes or any scary side effects, they give me irritating pimples! At 21 years old, pimples could still grow on my face ... even on my chest. It's seriously irritating! I'm regularly wearing my daily facial products. I'm trying my best to keep myself from eating chocolates and peanuts even though I love to eat them ...

There will be a period of time where I can't resist chocolates, when I am stress and drowning in assignments. I'll search for one thing : chocolates. I would not care about the side effects because ... I need my source of reliever badly!

Putting that aside, I went to Simei with my dad and Wani a day ago. It was an event that turned into an unexpected fight between my dad and sis. That fight did not last long though. They're okay now ...

Child Aid 2009

Attended Child Aid 2009 concert with Hana @ Sentosa yesterday night. Our sister, Wani, performed as a choir member of her school. She had four tickets and was hoping that someone from the family could come and watch. We can't really see her as ours is the very last row. The stage was too far from us. Nevertheless, it was convenient to exit the auditorium from our seating.

The concert was ... alright, I suppose. I am not someone who appreciate classical / orchestra music that much. I loved the drums/percussion performance the most! It was incredibly fantastic! I love the rhythm and music!

Universal Studio, Singapore is opening early next year. Official date not known yet, from what the guide told us. For Singaporean, the entrance rate is very expensive. I wished that they have a Singaporean special rates for us. Oh, wishful thinking. I'm still going to the Universal Studio once everything had been build and ready. For the experience. I want to see the difference between Universal Studio, Singapore and that of Los Angeles. I've been to the one in L.A. Hmm, that was years ago ... when I was only Pri. 6.

If Singapore builds Disneyland here, I'll be very happy. I want to go to Disneyland again ...

We were terribly hungry by the time the concert ended. It was already 10.15pm when we reached back to Vivo City. Most of the fast food restaurants had been closed. Thankfully, Burger King was open. Our stomachs were grumbling in hunger to even complain ... Scrumptious late dinner for us two!

I am currently addicted to Twilight ... Watched New Moon twice. Not that I can help it. I started reading Twilight fanfictions online. I bought New Moon book at POPULAR today, signed up as a member as well. I think I'll be buying more stationery and books from that store from today onwards. I used to love reading books. I'd want to return to that side of me.

Class had been cancelled today! I met with my new friend from SEED Institute (my school), May. We planned to go shopping but ended up only window shopping. Bugis St is after all the best place to shop. Orchard is too high class and expensive. Well, for us ... Haha.

We're both November babies! May's birthday falls on the 27th while mine on the 26th. She's a year younger than me though. 1 year and 1 day apart then. :)

We also planned to watch New Moon together. I'm excited for that movie! Hope it doesn't disappoints me ...

I watched Gokusen the movie with with my youngest sister today! Yes, it's a Japanese movie, one that I had been waiting for months after it premiered in Japan! This movie only premiered yesterday in Singapore. Ah, the long wait was finally over. I had to watch it immediately!!!!!

Watched the 3.10pm show @ GV Tampines. I'm glad that Golden Village decided to distribute this movie. GV Tampines is very convenient.

The movie ... was more than I had expected it to be! It was not a disappointment. Thankfully. It's like a birthday gift for myself! I should pamper myself more especially on my birthday month! Maybe I'll go shopping ...

I want to watch Gokusen the movie again ...

Had a short but sweet meeting with the sweetest Rin today! Rin even accompanied me to eat lunch first. My mom did cook. I just felt like eating outside. For today. Ended up hungry again after maghrib though so ate my dearest mom's cooking. I guess I can never run away from that, eh?

Passed Rin her birthday present as well. I wanted to make a personalised printed card for her but decided on a handmade card instead. It had been a long time since I made handmade stuff. Loved how the card looked in the end! And really glad that Rin likes it!!! :D

When I feel like eating something, I'll try my best to fulfill that desire. If not, just substitute it with something else. I am not that choosy.

LIFE Esprit Perfume

I bought a branded (expensive!) perfume for the first time. My heart literally broke at the price but I couldn't resist the nice fragrance the perfume emits! Flowery smell. Suits me really well. Bought the small bottle, my heart can't take the price of the bigger bottle! Haha. I don't know if I'll stick to this perfume but I do hope it could last me for at least a few months. I'll try to save my usage.

Everyone seems to not be in the mood to 'study' today. We are all busy doing our assignments that we are kind of numb during class. Too stress, I guess. Assignment submission was today.
So naturally, our brain's were dead? Hahha ...

Will go to TM after school today, need to buy some necessary products. I ran out of my favourite Adidas perfume! Damn. Need to buy that as well ... There's no John Little in Tampines though. Maybe I'll find a new perfume of my desire @ The Body Shop.

There's no class tmr and Thursday. Will make full use of the free time to do ... work!!!

I spent the last weekend of syawal visiting relative's houses and makan again! Bought a few dresses when I accompanied my 1st younger sister to Bugis St last Saturday. Can't resist the temptation. They're gorgeous and affordable, baby!

My aunt suggested that. There's not many who wore red & white but those of us who did, made a big difference. We didn't stay the whole day, of course. Watched National Day's show at home ...

Attending relative's wedding

The whole family (exclusion of Hana) attended a relative's wedding earlier today. No helping out, just did our job in eating the delicious briyani ... though we did stay for a short while, about 15mins. The venue is close to Ngee Ann Secondary. The weather was HOT, I was perspiring a lot ... Thankfully, we went home by cab (which my mom insisted).

Attending school, doing assignments ... one module after module. My schedule three weeks ago was pretty hectic but now it is more relaxing ... Class starts only at 10am, and ends at 5pm. The good thing is I don't have classes on Thursdays!!! Can use that time to rest and ... *cough* do assignment!

I have been so busy that I couldn't find the time to update here, rather I didn't have anything interesting to talk about or share here ...

I am so loving the precious moments in RTRC right now. The experience I'm currently having totally differs from Polytechnic, and I like the new change. At least I don't have to do java programming anymore! I seriously hate that, big time ... Doing something that I enjoyed for once feels different. Haha.

School aside, I suddenly received a call from Maira last Tuesday. Sorry if I sounded blur when I picked up the call, maira ... that always happens to someone who doesn't have caller id and is led clueless as to who she is speaking to. Maybe I'd take caller id someday ... that'd be an additional charge of $5 to my handphone bill though. I'll seriously think about this. :)

Back to the topic, Maira called me up that day if I could accompany her to Tampines Mall. She wanted to look for a brown bag. I said yes because ... my home is in Tampines anyway, it's near and it was an opportunity to meet my dear friend whom I haven't met since Lisda's elder bro's wedding. I miss you girls (Maira, Lisda & Rin) very much!!! Kekeke.

We ended our window-shopping and ate our dinner at Burger King. It had been so long since I've last eaten at BK! Seriously! To the extent that I can't remember when had been the last time ... It was a scrumptious meal! We parted ways after that ... well, technically after I bought my younger sister her McFlurry! I almost forgot her request ...

Shopping Spree

I'm sooooooooooooo tired!

Had a shopping spree with Sok Miang earlier today, we both bought lots of stuff! Met her at Orchard at 1.40pm, reached home around 8.10pm.

We went to Far East Plaza first to buy my Flats which I found one that I love & feel comfortable wearing it, thankfully! I bought two bracelets, earrings for a friend + small cute gift boxes. I had my late lunch while Sok Miang accompanied me. Thanks, girl! We headed to Bugis soon after that with my stomach's full ...

The walking in Bugis St helped to ease my full stomach though. But sadly, that walking did the opposite to my poor wallet! To Sok Miang's (wallet) as well! xD

Hmm, lemme recall what I bought in Bugis St ...

One black cardigan that I wanted since last month and one kimono-like dress ...

Well, that's about it. But I did bought stuff already in Far East ... so after all the so called window-shopping, we both were like ... 'That's enough. We've had enough of shopping.'

So we headed back to Tampines.

That's the jist though. But when we're at Tampines Link, we saw a shopping cart selling certain dresses at $5. We lost to our temptation and bought a dress each! I was sooooo close in buying two dresses! I also nearly bought one skinny jeans from Bugis St. but decided not to buy it in the end.

Hmm, so ... I spent almost to $70 (inclusive of topping up of my EZ-Link Card) today!!!!

I won't be shopping for a long time now! (I think same goes for Sok Miang. Hehe)

Honestly, this shopping spree that I had is considered alright for me because honestly ... I rarely go shopping. I love shopping but I don't like to splurge my money either. I only shop once in a blue moon.

Personally ... I prefer shopping via shop to shop physically rather than buying online. Even though it's really tiring but I feel satisfied in the end, getting what I want. Buying online ... sometimes the outcome don't meet the expectations that you thought it would be. So I'll stick with physical shopping! It's Da BEST!

I am inspired by Rin's latest entry. Even me as an individual and as a muslim ... I've probably done many sins. And to prevent ourselves from straying apart, we should keep our hearts' close to Allah. To perform our five prayers a day, and recite Al-Quran, as well as carrying out the responsibility as a Muslim. Reading your entry, Rin, makes me want to recite the Al-Quran which I haven't done so for quite some time too. Tmr, insya allah.

I am honestly glad that I was born in a family that are strict in terms of religion and quite conservative in a way. I was educated since young to know 'what is right' and 'what is wrong' or 'what is not allowed' in Islam. I have been equipped with the knowledge and had been taught properly. I am really thankful for that. But even so, I am not a perfect muslim. I pray to Allah in my prayers that I would be forgiven of my sins. We humans would return to HIM one day and hope that we would be placed in Heaven.

Those who have strayed from the path of Allah completely, I really hope they repent before it's too late ... Because in Islam, life of a Muslim does not ends with death ... there's the afterlife world, which gives me shivers every time I think about it. The afterlife makes me wants to be a better muslim ... Insya allah.

I love the phrase from Maira which Rin posted in her blog. Let me borrow the phrase and put it here as well, kay ...

At first I cannot be bothered ... or rather I don't really care about it but finally ... I lost the temptation to own one. It's really easy and fun ... Hope that feeling won't change in months to come. Hahahaha ...

I went for a medical checkup in the morning (for practicum purposes) after which I headed to Bugis to meet my group mates to do our assignment. We're the famous 'We Rock' group! I think everyone knows that by now. Finalised our assignment in National Library with nature surrounded us. It was ... hot!!!!!!

Next week is the start of our three weeks break! There's assignments to complete but of course ...

Lisda's 2nd elder bro wedding

I attended Lisda's 2nd elder bro wedding together with Maira and Rinie as well as Rinie's bf. Initially Maira and I wanted to take a cab once we reached Paya Lebar MRT but thankfully we manage to 'tumpang' Rin. The way to Lagun Sari Restaurant is quite ... complicated. Perhaps if Maira and I had taken a cab, we would have got lost instead!

By the way ... I shopped a little while waiting for Maira. Bought two tops at COTTON-ON, that costs only $5 each! The place was damn pack but how could I resist? So cheap ... Since GSS is here, I wanna buy jeans, flats, bag ... So many stuff! A digi camera is still on my list, I'll need to save up first. Hmm ...

First module ended

Today, my first ever module in RTRC Asia has ended. Presentation done. But that doesn't mean our assignment is done! We still have to do the write-up (group work) as well as individual assignment. There's also another module's assignment ... I'll do my best ...

Putting assignments' aside, since it is Mdm Suraya's last day with us ... we classmates, 44 of us to be exact, took photograph with her. I felt really united. During polytechnic, this kind of bond doesn't exist. Students are more scattered and divided into small groups. Well, that was based on my experience. I love my class despite the difference of age, race & religion. It's so different from Polytechnic life!

I am seriously considering to create a Facebook just so that I could keep in contact with the lecturers & have more online friends as possible. Hmm, I don't know ...

I pray for the safety of my parents & Wani ... they're going to Langkawi tonight.

Met Nadiah last Sunday. Finally got a chance to meet Nadiah for the first time this year ... We didn't do much, just window-shopped at THIS Fashion Paya Lebar. I bought two t-shirts. Atfer that, we had our lunch at Long John Silver.

We met just for a short while but it was worth it. Happy to be able to meet you, Nad!

My course at RTRC ASIA has just started and it's already been a week in just a blink of an eye! Time really pass by real fast, huh? So far I'm really enjoying it ... and I'm actually paying attention during class! So different when I was in Poly! Haha ...

Met new friends of all ages too, which really differs from Poly. It's a valuable experience to gain knowledge from these people. It's only the first week but there's a project to be done and completed. I'll do my best! Maybe ... I'll post pics of my new friends here in my blog if I'm given the green light to do so. :D

Rinie and I met up with Lisda today ... to pass her bday gift and just hang out for a short while. Hung out at Coffee Bean and chit chatted ... for almost an hour, I think. Then we headed to Tampines 1 to do our window shopping! Rin and I ventured on our own after Lisda met her bf. Hehe, tak nak menganggu lah, seriously.

We went to TIMES bookstore and browsed books on fashion and food! Made us hungry ... looking through pictures of food. I bought stuff at watsons by the way. Didn't buy much actually ...

Graduation 2009

I attended my graduation ceremony yesterday, dated 19th May 2009. It was a moment I have been waiting for, and I was honestly blissful. I was able to stand on the same stage as my fellow friends despite the difference of date.

I was probably one of the minority who doesn't like the course that I was taking. First year wasn't so bad but when it comes to the second and third year, I felt that IT wasn't really my thing. I found it very difficult to grasp programming. I was struggling. I felt like a hypocrite, continuing a course that I have no interest in. There were so many 'What IFs' in my mind then.

What if I didn't took up the course in the first place? What if I didn't put the course as one of my options? Those questions lingered on my mind ... What IF's ...

But at the same time, if I didn't take up the course, I wouldn't have met the friends I held so dear to my heart.

Lisda, Maira and Rinie ...

I am not one who makes friends easily. I am very wary and feels uncomfortable when surrounded by strangers. So I am thankful for knowing them, they're the close friends then and still are now. Our bond is growing stronger, right girls? Love you girls lots!

Oh, by the way ... I was not alone on the great day. I met up with Vicky, someone whom I worked hard together, to achieve our goal to graduate. We helped each other out, we strived to our limits, and I am so glad that we reached our goal. Congratulations to US! Haha.

Final goodbye to Temasek Polytechnic. My chapter in that school has offficially ended.

Choco Rice Heart Cookies

Choco-Rice Heart Cookies (coated with chocolate)

Made these crunchy cookies two days ago. It was my first time baking cookies that coats with chocolate so being a first timer, I think I made a little mistake. I think I used the wrong chocolate to dip the cookies in. Because the chocolate, even if I placed the cookies in the fridge, when taken out, it sort of melts and sticks to one another!

Or was it because I anyhow placed a spoonful of butter into the melted chocolate then? I used van houlten's baking chocolate. Maybe next time I'll just use normal chocolate bars ... Hmm, I'll definitely try these heart cookies again!

By the way, eating the cookies without the coating is really delicious by itself! The combination of nestum and chocolate rice in the batter is just so awesome!!!! Super super yummy delicious!

If I do make these again, I'll have to practice dipping the cookies into the melting chocolate as well. As you seen in the pictures, my skill is not that good yet. Well, practice makes people improve!

Met up with Celine in Tampines today! We ate lunch together at Ramen Ten! It was my first time eating at that restaurant. It was my first eating in a halal Japanese restaurant too. Hmm, not too bad. Just that maybe next time, I'll just order sushi ... coz eating the noodles, etc, is enough to make me full. I can never eat ramen alone.

Celine treated me yet once again. I feel bad somehow so let me compromise ... the next time you order cookies (be it 50pcs or 100pcs) from me, the next bottle (whatever cookies you want) with the same amount will be free!

We did talk about cookies earlier. How you didn't have time to bake them so I'd gladly sell them to you. I love baking anyway. =P

I'll be experimenting with different types of cookies (for a start). Maybe one day, I'll be able to sell them on my blog if I have a variety. What do you girls think? Well, it's useless if I just post the entry on my blog but no one buys them. So I'm hoping I'll be able to attract a few customers.

Met up with Sok Miang last Saturday for the first time in year 2009. Glad that we could finally meet up. Missed you lots!

We went to Bugis to venture a new shopping mall besides Bugis St. That was the first mall I went to that has a high ceiling (for each level) and a very long escalator (see pic below).

It has a beautiful interior and is very spacious though not much shops that were opened. The last level is still under construction. Well, I think there are a few more levels seeing the escalator that was not yet open to public. Hmm ...

Oh by the way, while looking around, we took lots of great pictures! We even took some fantastic shots while waiting for the elevator. And the moment we entered the elevator, Sok Miang suggested to take a photo of our reflection in the mirror. After we were done with that, the both of us was wondering why the elevator wasn't moving ...

Then we realised that we didn't press the button at all! Too busy taking a photo to realise that!HAHA.

Yesterday, met up with Lisda, Maira and Rinie. We were finally able to make it for a day, meeting as us four. It had been four long months since we met like this! And yes ... as usual, I was the organizer for this meeting. If no one makes the initiative to try schedule a date, we'll never get to meet.

I met Lisda at Tampines MRT first. We dropped by Tampines 1 for awhile as Lisda wanted to exchange an item there. That explains why we were the last ones to arrive. Sorry for waiting, Rin and Maira!

Anyway, during the journey to City Hall ... Lisda and I were complaining how our stomachs were rumbling. I hadn't eaten my lunch as well so the first thing that came to our mind when we met Rin and Maira, was to EAT!

Meeting with Maira

I met Maira at Chinatown during her lunch time today. She passed me the graduation gown. We hung out for a short while at Coffee Bean. Though it's Maira's lunch time, she wasn't hungry. I was amazed! Were you full or currently on a diet, Maira? xD

Anyway, on to the drinks ... I ordered my fav White Chocolate Ice Blended. I've only tried that drink in Coffee Bean though. Up to now, I've bought the same flavour thrice. Buying anything from Coffee Bean is quite expensive but once in a while is okay. I think the next time I'll go Coffee Bean, I'll end up ordering the same drink again. I want to try Hazelnut Ice Blended for a change.

Anyway, Maira and I chatted. It's good to know that Maira started blogging again! We were talking about blogging, and she mentioned that I've blogged for years. It's close to five years now. I started when I was in Secondary 4. The feeling now is like ... wow.

Soon, this blog will have it's 5 yrs anniversary? Haha. What I wrote in the earlier entries were jibberish and rubbish. When I read back, I find it funny but I guess, that's how it is. It felt good though reading the old entries, those were my memories and my past. It's nostalgic.

Update your blog regularly, okay Maira! I love your writing style. ^^

Maira showed me the shop that sells dresses at cheap prices. The quality's not that bad. Maira kindly bought me a dress (pic below). Thanks so much, Maira! Next time, it'd be my turn treating you! I'm going to the shop again this Saturday, with my youngest sister, and hmm ... I think I'm going to spend on a few dresses. :3

Further studies

I wanted to wait until all is confirmed to inform this ...

I'm going to pursue Diploma in Early Childhood - Teaching (English) @ RTRC Asia (1 year plus). I have been accepted and the course would commence on 25th May. As the course is supported by WDA, I only have to pay 10% of the total fees, which I don't want to deduce the amount here.

Why pursue a Diploma in Early Childhood after getting Diploma in IT from TP?

Anyone that knows me would probably ask me that, saying that I should've chosen the Early childhood diploma when I got my "O" Level results. It's useless to look back at the past and say ... "I should have done this ... or that ..." because the past is over and will never come back, except for the memories. Besides, IT is not really my thing. I don't want to be a hypocrite anymore and do things I love for once.

I've always loved children and wanted to be a teacher since young. At first, I thought of becoming a teacher at a primary school but I realised that I am not up for that.

I've attended a one day attachment at a childcare in March and I really loved the experience. I feel comfortable being placed in a childcare environment, and playing with the young children had been really fun. Because of the love, I wanted to equip myself with the necessary skills. I had attended a talk in early March regarding this course as well.

Rather than having regrets of a lifetime, I would pursue my dream and go for it. I do not care what people would say in regards to my decision. This is my life, I have the right to make my own decisions.

The economy is really at a bad state now so upgrading our skills is the right thing to do.

Hmm, graduation ceremony for Diploma in IT is just one month away. I can't wait to get that cert and start school again! It will be a totally different experience bcoz there will be many different age group in one class! I hope that wouldn't affect communicating between one another. Nevertheless, I can't wait!!!!

Recent Baking

It wasn't my first time baking my famous Choc Chip Muffins! One day, I wanna try Blueberry Muffins, as well as experimenting other flavours / use diff colourings but still using the same reccipe.

In case you're wondering what is the white stuff sprinkled on the pudding, it's icing sugar. Don't know why it became like that. This is my first try making Choc Pudding, using a recipe from an English Book (I'd usually prefer referring to a Malay Recipe Book). This is really simple and doesn't take long to make.

I've always loved M&M Choc Cookies so I wanted to try making it for myself. Boy, these cookies is so tedious and takes really long to make them! First, you have to make small balls of the mixture then you have to place the choc chips (individually) & M&M's chocolate on each and every balls! Really really tedious, I tell you! Besides these M&M choc cookies uses expensive ingredients! Optima Flour, Choc Chip and M&M chocolates are one of them. But it's worth it, so delicious!!!

I am NOT gonna sell these cookies but if there's a request, maybe I will. But the price would be expensive bcoz well as I've said, these M&M choc cookies uses expensive ingredients, and it certainly would take a lot of my time. :(

Plans for the future

I went to Career & Education 2009 at Suntec City earlier today. As expected (read the news in the morning), there was a lot of people visiting the Fair! Hmm, a few thousand, I should say.

I applied for positions @ Marina Bay Resort / Sentosa, not having high hopes to get shortlisted though. Kalau ada rezeki, insya-allah. I also browsed around the Fair. If I have the money right now, I would have applied for private institutions (getting a Diploma then proceeding to get a Degree). But I don't.

Most of you know but I'm getting my Diploma Certificate this coming May. In the mean time, yes ... I am searching for a job (still on the lookout & searching). The economy is bad as it is so I'm not gonna be choosy. I'm not going to give up until I get a job! I will keep on praying to God.

Future Plans:

~ Work for 1-2 years
~ Meet the one-for-me? (Tee Heee Heee xD). Insya-allah.
~ Further study in Private Institution/Academy (hoping to get a Bachelor's Degree as well

Going to make choc chip cupcakes that Cik Juli ordered tmr! I want to try baking Marble Cake on Sunday! I'm hoping for a success!!!!!!

P.S. I seriously love baking ~~more than cooking!~~. I know, need to learn how to cook asap!

Early Birthday Celebration

Earlier today, my family celebrated Abang Faaiz & Wani's birthday which would be tmr, dated 2nd March 2009. Tmr's a school day so today is the best time to celebrate it. I took pictures certainly and edited it, as the original ones looked so dull. The chocolate cake look apetizing but it was too bitter for my taste. I don't really like dark chocolate. Oh well, the birthday girl chose it, not expecting it to be too dark. It was okay.

Today, I went out with Hana as promised. She wanted to buy clothes for Polytechnic which would soon start in April. My, did she bought a lot! She really love clothes, falling in love easily with every clothes she sees. Thankfully there was me to control her urge from buying more within her budget. She still need to buy some other stuffs.

Hana bought clothes from Tampines Interchange as well as THIS Fashion Paya Lebar. It's really a good bargain, I should say. Buying clothes/dresses from cart shops at Tampines is affordable. THIS Fashion is also having promotional discounts up to 50%. So Hana kinda saved a lot from all this.

Me on the other hand, only bought a two-piece dress for Wani's birthday this 2nd March. I bought nothing for myself. It's not the right time to spend for me. Hmm, next time perhaps.

After doing our shopping, Hana and I went to eat @ Long John Silver. We both bought grilled chicken (using coupon) so it's much cheaper than the normal price. It's worth the money spent, I tell you! The food's delicious!!! Yummy Yummy! I took a few pictures using my sis's phone which I'd update as soon as I receive them from her.

Four more days to Abg Fiz & Wani's birthday. This two are born on the same day, in the same hospital and same doctor! Hope there's a birthday cake! Hmm, maybe I should make muffins (plus frosting)! My mom's birthday is coming soon too, on the 18th of March! I know just what to buy her ... =)

Tampines Mart

Yesterday, I went to Tampines Mart (with my dad and youngest sis) for the first in four years! I can't remember when was the last time I had been there. Brings back nostalgic feelings when I see students donning the beige uniform. It had been a good four years. Time really passed so fast. Tampines Mart had changed a lot over the years. It felt weird somehow.

I went to Tampines Mart for one purpose ... to buy donuts from Donut Empire (the only halal Donut company in Spore, I think). Bought a dozen for my family. So each of us took two piece each. The donuts was really scrumptious! I'd buy more in the future!~

Unfortunately, I didn't have any pictures of the donuts. I just didn't have the mood to take photos so ... yeah.

I may be going out with Hana tmr. She wanna shop for clothes while I most probably will just be doing window-shopping. But wanna eat out, definitely!!! ^0^

Even though my dad made the brooche (I juz put the beads onto the pin, he did the rest), I love the result of this design. The five pictures above are the only stocks I have. Only if there are orders for this design, we would make more. Well I hope there'll be good response.

It's the brooche business I told you girls about. It doesn't really have to cater to malay girls wearing the tudung, others are also welcome. I don't really make the brooche (only putting in the beads & connecter onto the pin) but I helped a lot in the process. Planning, Designing as well as Packaging. Wani helped too. If there's online orders, I would also be in charge of the sales and marketing. It's fun at the same time learning new skills.

Why the name Musrija?

It's the combination of my dad's full name. He has been using that for ages. It's weird but unique.

Besides promoting the brooche online, my dad would sell it to our families. He promoted it to his colleagues as well. Wani promoted to her friends (who hopefully would promote to their mothers), my mom to her friends. and Hana would help out too. This almost seem like a family business! Haha.

Met up with Rinie and Maira @ Century Square yesterday. I met Lisda the day before. Hopefully the four of us can meet somtime soon. Back to the topic, we chilled out at Coffee Beans for awhile and chit chatted. I bought White Chocolate ice blended while Maira and Rin chose Pure Caramel. We ordered the exact same thing when we were in Coffee Beans @ Bugis. Maira also bought a Chocolate Chip Muffin which I shared a little.

I told Lisda, Maira and Rin about the brooche online business I'm going venture. The one who came up with the modal and actually make the brooches is my dad (though I helped too). I'll be helping him sell them, from planning, designing, packaging as well as sales and marketing. I sound like it's a big business. O_O Anyway, I've created a Multiply for that purpose. When it's officially ready, I'll post the link here.

Yesterday, I shopped $40 worth of stuff! Initially I wanted to buy a flats but I ended up buying flats and 2 cardigans @ COTTON ON. Love them though so no regrets whatsoever.

Pictures of Cik Yati's Kenduri + Family Gathering. I think that was my first time going to Cik Yati's new house. I don't remember going there before. Hmm, living in a Condo is quite luxurious but somehow I can feel the loneliness. It's just different stayin in a HDB estate. The Buffet was not done in the apartment but a special place for the Condo residence. The food's really nice though!! And it was great seeing my kuzzins again! xD

How did you spend your New Year's Eve?

Well for me, I spent it watching TWILIGHT movie with my younger sister, Hasanah. She was the one who asked me to watch that movie, if not for her, I think I wouldn't have bothered. Haha. First time watching a movie at night (9.30pm), we arrived home ard 12pm. It's already 2009 by the time we reached home!

Hmm, bout Twilight movie ... It's not that excellent, nor it is bad but it is good enough to keep me captivated for the upcoming series to come. I'll definitely watch it. <3

Cousins Outing

Girl Kuzzins' outing was a blast!

It finally became a reality on 26th of December. Kak Zahirah brought us to Mind Cafe @ Boat Quay. We took the $14.50 package where we got a free flow of drinks, a dessert plus able to play board games for 2 hours! I know it's expensive but we kuzzins don't get to spend this quality time together as often so once in awhile is okay ...

Playing board games is much better than watching a movie, we interacted a lot and had lots of fun! There definitely was lots of laughter especially when we played 'Dirty Minds'! The game was not 'Dirty' at all, in fact it was quite decent, it was us who had 'Dirty Minds'!!!! Ahhahhha, it was fun!!!

After walking around Boat Quay and took many many pictures, we went to a mosque to have our Asar prayers. We had our maghrib prayers at the same place too. Then we walked to Esplanade and took more pictures together. We stayed at the garden rooftop for awhile before heading back home.

I really had a splendid time with you girls!~ Can't wait for another cousins' outing ...

Seoul Garden

I am so full right now! I've eaten lunch @ Seoul Gardens with my family and my uncle Cik Hashim with his two children. He's going back to Madras, India tonight where he's working. We probably won't see him for a long time so my dad treated him, well us too. I ate until I've reached my limits (more than what I normally could take) but it was really delicious, it was my second time eating at that restaurant.

Met Sok Miang @ Bugis MRT today. We have not met for quite some time so I was really happy to see you. I love the poster you made for me! You printed it @ Bras Basah, rite? xD The handbag is lovely too! Thank you so much! I've wanted to buy a handbag similar to what you gave me for my birthday. Thankfully I can save the money for something else instead.

The both of us spent quite some time in Bugis Street, searching for my skinny jeans. I bought one eventually, the quality's quite good. The shop that we searched the whole Bugis St. was expensive (really small cutting) but quality-wise not that good so it was a good decision to not buy from that particular shop.

Selamat Hari Raya Haji!

Went to Nyai's house earlier in the afternoon. The food specialty for this year's Hari Raya Haji was Nasi Briyani which my mom cooked. Hmm, tasted really good except I would enjoy it more if it's chicken briyani.

Even if it was for a short while, we cousins discussed about the outing. We have to make it a reality, girls! Following Zima's free schedule, it'd be around 24th Dec, 2nd week of Nadz and her holidays. What we're going to do on the day is still not decided. Maybe we'll watch the movie Twilight, or eat @ Seoul Garden (i juz love this restaurant) or window shopping. I'm anticipating it!

Met Celine @ Pasir Ris MRT ard 11.20am to collect our items that we ordered. It wasn't my first time ordering something online but it was my first buying clothes online. The result? It wasn't so bad afterall though one have to be careful when ordering things online. If I have to choose between purchasing online VS buying clothes from shop to shop physically, I'll choose the 2nd option. It's just more fun that way. *winks*

The both of us went to eat our lunch @ SWENSENS after that. Celine treated me! Hehehe. Thank you, girl ...

Since we met up today, might as well we spent some time together. That was what we thought. So after we're all full and bloated, we headed to Tampines Mall. Celine collected the book she ordered from POPULAR. Went to Century Square too. I ended up just browsing at things while Celine did actually bought something.

Haha, need the money to do some shopping @ Bugis St. with Sok Miang in mid December. I hope I won't spend a lot. Eeeek! Well on the bright sight, got some money from my dad (his share of my mp4). I am planning to ask a liiitle more, hmm ...

I watched HSM3 again yesterday ... This time it was with my 1st younger sister, Hasanah. She have not watched it yet so she asked me to watch it with her, I think yesterday screening @ Tampines GV was the last one. I couldn't say No honestly besides I didn't mind watching it again. Love the 3rd series.

Choc Chip cupcakes

Cupcakes I made for the Chalet event! It's the same recipe as my choc rice cupcakes, just that I substitute the choc rice with choc chips! Yummy! Made four adunans (times) and they're all gone during the three days at the Chalet! I'm glad! =D

Read zima's blog. Yeah, is the cousins outing really going to happen? Hmm, maybe we should organise it or something, discuss and actually confirm on Hari Raya Haji. We should make full use of the school holiday to go out and have fun together ...

But what should we do? Watch movie? Window shopping? Makan2?

Today, I went to Sitex Fair 2008 yesterday with my dad.

I've been wanting to buy Zen X-FI mp4 player ever since I discovered it online. My old Zen mp3 player (it still look brand new, 6GB) spoiled long time ago. I guess it's the battery, probably over-charged or something. I obviously am not going to throw it away so when my dad has the time and money (repair centre is in Jurong, i think), he'll send it for repair and he can have the mp3 for himself.

I wanted to just go to Courts to buy the mp4 but my dad wanted to go to the Fair. He love to check out electronics exhibitions, accepting leaftlets but most of the time, he'd leave empty handed after spending so much time looking around! Oh, I had that experience of accompanying him before. Haha. But this time, luckily ... we didn't leave without buying something.

I bought the Zen X-FI as I wanted though I had to use my money first. The mp4 is sort of a birthday present from my dad, he won't pay full. Hmm, probably just 60 - 70 % of the whole cost. It's better than nothing.

My dad bought HP catridge for my bro's printer. We didn't took a lot of time looking around this time. The fair's packed but I think weekends will be even worse! That is why I hate electronic exhibitions! I just ... don't like the huge crowd. So suffocating ... Argh!

Went to Challengers @ Simei after that. I bought a case for my newly bought mp4. Then the both of us went to eat at Banquet. We two were hungry after spending some time at the Fair. Food's delicous!~

Today ... I turned TWENTY!

Hmm, there's no new feeling, just that it's hard to believe I am 20. Wow. That fact will sink in sooner or later. I'm happy that I'm being told that I don't look like my age though, that I look younger. Haha.

This year's birthday is so meaningful. I celebrated my 20th birthday with my whole family (cousins, uncles and aunties from my mom's side) at a chalet (not exactly a chalet, but we call it that)! Their presence and wishes is what make it even more meaningful, I guess. There's a cake (initially an anniversary cake for my two aunts but later on, all the Nov babies shares it as well) too besides the awesome BBQ!~ Ahhh, it was so much fun!

Received a gorgeous blue dress from my mom and Wani. Love it. My dad? Haha, maybe later ...

Thanks to those who greeted me 'Happy Birthday'! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

High School Musical 3

Today, I went to watch HSM3 with Wani (11.40am) @ Tampines GV. That was my first time watching High School Musical in cinema, watched the two previous movies @ Disney Channel. I've read reviews regarding this move beforehand, and now that I had watched it, I have to agree that the 3rd movie is the best of all three movies! It was highly entertaining especially with the great songs and lyrics. I enjoyed the whole one hour plus throughout!

Today I went to eat at Popeyes @ T3 with my youngest sister. Went all the way to Changi Airport to eat that. Well it was worth it. We both shared a meal together. It was delicious, as expected! After eating, we went straight home. There was no need to go sightseeing again, at least not with my sister. Friends definitely okay though ...

I am still angry with Wani for causing the state of my phone right now. It's working but sometimes it goes bonkers and dead. Oh, and don't ask what happened. The thought of the incident will make me so mad. Haiz. Come next year February when the contract ends, I'm definitely gonna change my phone. Just that I'd have to fork out my own money. Gah! I'd work it out when the time comes.

Regarding my Nov shopping Spree, I'm still going on with it, budget being $100. I spent $38 on two cardigans few weeks ago. Maybe I'll buy one or two clothes from online, the rest I'd search @ Bugis St next time. I've got quite a number of cardigans so looking more for dresses. Want buy bag and flats too! xD

First update of the month! I've been lazy to update my blog or even log in to msn these days. Celine nudged me about that so ... I'll write a decent post. xD

Went to Giants @ Tampines with Celine yesterday afternoon. Got a message from her at 1.40pm, asking me to go out. We didn't meet for quite some time now so why not? We took bus 34 together from my house area. You should try take the shuttle bus next time, it's more convenient. Giants indeed have many stuff but we were on a really tight budget so we didn't buy that much stuff. At least we could finally meet even if it's for a short while, right? Had lots of fun meeting you yesterday, Celine! Next time let's go out and eat!

Last two Saturdays, went to the ZOO with my father, bro and youngest sis. My brother got four free tickets so we went. I've not gone there for years, the last time I think when I was in Primary school. There's quite a lot of changes made over the years and it was refreshing to see it with my own eyes. I had fun adventuring.

I'll post the ZOO pics some time soon. I don't know where my dad placed the camera so once I get it, I'll upload here.

Hari Raya

Unlike usual, my family on my mom's side didn't rent a bus for this special occasion this time round. It had always been a routine on the first day so it felt different. We did gather at nyai's house first then went to two houses as a large group of family before parting ways.

Kind of sad, isn't it? Ah, but it can't be helped. Besides some of the losts, October is an exam period. PSLE & 'O' Levels ... Why is Hari Raya always on exam periods??? It's not fair ... Well I'm not taking any important exams anymore but I've ever experienced ... sacrificing my first day of Hari Raya just so I could study!

Arrived at nenek and atuk's house at around 4.50pm. It was our first time going there that late. Usually we would be there in the morning, after which we would go to nyai's house. Quite a big change, huh?

1st of October is Hari Raya but it's also my dad's birthday. Happy Birthday!!!

Preparations for Hari Raya ... for my individual self?

Well nothing much, really. My mother sew my Hari Raya clothes as usual. Love the outcome of it! Just bought a scarf and that's it. Decided not to waste my money on a new bag or shoe so I will just make use with whatever I have currently. To tell the truth, I didn't have time to go out this fasting month bcoz I was busy making kuehs. xDD

Sure, it was tiring and it took great efforts to make them but in the end, the hard work paid off. At least I earned some money. I'm greatly thankful.

I'll see you cousins on the first day of Hari Raya. And I hope I could go 'jalan raya' with Lisda, Maira & Rinie. Last year we couldn't make it so I'm really hoping it would come true this time. Oh, not forgetting nadiah too. Just that it's a different group. =D

Pizza Hut frenzy

Today, my family ordered food from Pizza Hut for breaking of our fast for the day. We will always order outside food once in fasting month. 2 Viva Pizza + 1 Large Supreme Pizza. There's side orders too. Eating all these delicious foods certainly made my stomach full. So yummy!!! We siblings contributed some money too.

From wed to the end of fasting month, will be making kueh ... For our family & those remaining orders that I have yet to do.

I won't be spending much this Hari Raya. I'll just make do with whatever I have. Don't want to waste money ... I'll just buy scarf and maybe a handbag. Let's see how it goes. Don't even know if I have the time to go out ... I'm so busy at home making all the kuehs! xP

Greatest Gratitude

I passed that one subject! So happy ... Even if retaking just that one subject, not all able to graduate with my batch of friends nevertheless I did not regret it at all. Honestly taking the subject the second time is more fun than the first time I did. I communicate well with Vicky (Vigneswari), and Juet too. I feel belong, I feel needed than my ex-members the previous time.

I'm just happy that I'm finally able to graduate. I don't when the grad ceremony is though. Maybe next year ... So will look for a part time job after Raya ends. I intend to continue my studies, just private. Let's see how it goes.

Now I'll have to say goodbye to my polytechnic life ....

Alhamdulillah, there's quite a number of orders by now. I'm at home doing nothing during fasting month so at least making the kuihs will make me busy. Time won't be wasted in that way, at the same time I'll be doing the thing I love that is baking. The ones that is popular is Love letters. I've got 5 orders for that from 3 of my aunts. Love letters will be the last item on my list.

Wani would also promote my kuihs to two of her teachers. Whether I'll get more orders, let's just wait and see. ^^

Arab Street

Went to Arab Street earlier to buy Hari Raya clothe with my mom, two younger sisters, Wak Chom and her friend. Wak Chom is an expert in asking for price reducement so it's really a great help. So tiring walking here and there. Ah, but I bought cream colour lace, the lining is white and the skirt is of a darker shade. Very nice and price is really acceptable.

We siblings won't be wearing the same colour but you can say, similar colour shade. Yellowish, cream, gold, etc. I still have one white chiffon clothe that I bought in Geylang, and pink flowers design clothe bought from KL.

Had our lunch at Hajah Maimunah @ Jalan Pisang. Ahhhh, super delicious! It's my favourite local restaurant! The food's so tasty & satisfactory!!!!

Nutella Roll

I made Nutella Roll yesterday. Cakes are really troublesome compared to baking cookies. Really!This isn't my first time making Nutella Roll, the last time was two years ago, I think. I loved the outcome, everything went by smoothly thankfully. I was afraid I'd lost the touch to make it. It's super yummy delicious! It was worth the time honestly. I don't know whether I'll sell this but if there's request, maybe I will. $5 per roll (10x10inch). Filling is Nutella ButterCream.
